Focused on the materials technology division, my role was to promote Sandvik's advanced steel tubing across a range of industries including mining, manufacturing, oil and petrochemical and energy.

This involved:

Ongoing engagement with stakeholders and subject matter experts in Sweden, US, UK, Brazil, India and China to inform marketing campaigns, exhibition strategy and content, and thought leadership programmes targeting technical and industry media.

Understanding complex scientific concepts and communicating them creatively and impactfully via owned and earned media channels.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with industry journalists, including orchestrating a media visit to company HQ and manufacturing plant in Sandviken, Sweden.

Managing junior marketing executives to deliver social media content and nurture Sandvik's online forum of industry influencers and prospects.
